Very well done Emily. You have grasped the basic concepts quite well, so many people learn best from seeing then doing. It can be difficult to turn text from a book into a real world drawing. If you want to get better you MUST practice, this is the only way to truly get better at anything! I hope you pursue this series of teachable videos, you can help others as you practice too! I just purchased an electric pencil sharpener, I got the same one The Frugal Crafter- Lindsay Weirich uses on her channel, so far every pencil I have sharpened has popped up perfect! I believe that you will have a better point on your pencil if you have a harder pencil, Prismacolor’s are so soft, you have Derwent in England so they are simply less expensive. They have several lines of pencils and some are harder than others! I hope this video does well enough for you to continue to show others how you work and how they can become better artists too!

life drawing classes can be one of the best ways to learn anatomy, as long as you dont have boring models/teachers lol
Loomis books can help as a start to learning anatomy, easy to follow but there are a lot of books and videos to help with anatomy out there

I find the action line thing really difficult too, you could do a follow up video and go more in depth 😏

i didnt go to art school either. sometimes i really feel like i missed out haha

kinisthetic learners dont look at something and then know how to draw it really well. that's not what it means. A kinisthetic learner learns with no reference, on there own, until they get it to what they want it to be. So imagine you're new to drawing and you wanna learn hands. instead of using reference to draw what you see, you use it to draw the position in your own way.
