Good work ...to improve it or to better The 'hole' is known as the digester., The water that seems dirty is a point where the gas is collected and purposely the water there that seem dirty is there to detect any gas leakage so it's easier for you to note bubbles. The compartment where the 'waste' is collected is known as the expansion chamber.
Now the sludge out is known as 'black gold' because the bioslury is very rich than the synthetic fertilizer. Now consider applying it in the right way for better yields and also explore more uses. Otherwise that's a nice work. Keep it up.
