That satisfaction you get when you are almost stressed out deciding which college is great. Perfectly timed shane!

With cost, a great thing to look into is if you're a legacy student. I did my undergraduate at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia and one of the big draws that helped was that my dad and uncle went there. On the application they ask if you are related to any alumni. By checking yes and entering my relationships I ended up qualifying for additional aid. It was like an extra $5, 000 a year! That made SJU way cheaper (when combined with my other academic scholarships and my grant) than even University of Maryland which would have been my in-state public university. It also added a lot to my family's joy of seeing me follow in my family's footsteps and opened some doors after graduation right away!

I would highly recommend living with your parents if you can. Even if it's very frustrating and you'd love to live by yourself, you have to consider whether that feeling of independence is worth the thousands of dollars a month

PLEASE DO MORE VIDEOS LIKE THESE!!! You have so many videos on what careers are the best instead of what colleges are the best for certain degrees.

I only applied to my local state school with a 100% acceptance rate because I was scared of getting rejected by the more prestigious schools. At first I was bitter and dreaded the thought of attending school with no prestige unlike UCLA or Vanderbilt. But after going to a few classes I realized that I love it here and don't regret my decision.

Retention rate of the school is another important factor as well

I'm an SC man, a student at Clemson University. Unfortunately my family and I couldn't afford to visit beforehand, but I earned enough scholarships/grants to help me come here. I think if I came here before I moved in, I would've thought twice about staying here, but I'm glad I was put into a position that pushed me so far out of my comfort zone. :) Definitely love it here

If you’re unsure of your major then GO TO A COMMUNITY COLLEGE!! This saved me tons of money while I figured out what I wanted to do.

My advice for high school seniors is look up accreditations for the colleges and their programs (if any).

I’m actually planning on doing community college for 1-2 years for business at bachelors level than transfer to a university that’s well known for business. 😭
