Clay is the best teacher on youtube. I was approaching 4, 2 months ago. I'm a +1 now. You could watch just 6 to 8 of his videos and change your game. Pay attention. No magic cures. Work hard.

This is excellent! I have a very high-resolution screen but find it difficult to follow the ball flight. I would also like to see more slow-motion clips in order to understand exactly what is going on.

Great drill I use bands for training. This is great. The constant tennis racket drill is in my mind with almost every shot I take.

Clay I will be trying this at the weekend. I really struggle with a slide and a flip and have done for years. Keeping that left side connected will hopefully improve my contact.

Love it. Seems like a take on the towel under the arm drill. Also feels like it works in a similar way to the Tour Striker Planemate. Would love a video showing you using that if you happen to have it.

This has been the biggest tip i have ever received. I stop rotating and swing my arms through and chicken wing my left arm out after. As soon as i made the change to keep my left arm in and continue rotation i started crushing it. THANKS!!

A little problem Clay, finding a long enough band that is in stock anywhere . I went to the 3 biggest sports stores and almost all bands are gone from gym closures. I bought a 3 pack I thought would work but not long enough. My online search starts now, good vid though 👍

The drill looks great, but then there is too much information to take for 11 mins. You have me questioning whether I’m swinging completely wrong (which i might).

I understand having something in the armpit to stop chicken wing but dont see why its wrapped around the club head?

How do I keep my head from sliding backwards starting from the point where my takeaway is finished and it slides during the rest of my backswing

I like your channel and think a lot of what you share is good stuff. This drill, however, is highly overrated . I tried it and found it very easy to perform yet it had no discernible effect on improving my ball striking.

Great drill Clay. Another drill which is not as good is to stick a Towle under your armpits

So many other pros talking about similar concepts, but Clay is the only one that emphasizes pinching the left bicep to the pec. I'm nowhere near where I want to be but my consistency with my irons is unbelievable. I just start with a little shaft lean (from one of your other videos) and keep the left arm connected and it's magic. Just need to work on a little more distance, but has massively improved my game. Thanks Clay!

clay cant keep up with the facial hair and the clothes. one day the hair is on the next day of the clothes don't change ?? the lessons are superb, however, you fail to understand that the majority are not the all American athletes college boy that you are

You could maybe wrap a small elastic band round the face to keep the theraband from slipping every two to three swings. I love stuff like this for having a better concept through feels and a strong visual. Looks like a visual representation of the so-called 'flying wedge' or like the ulnar deviation angle on Gears!

what`s the benefit in comparison to holding a club-cover between chest and left arm ???

Bingo. All my problems solved by watching one video. Clear, concise, great communication skills. I really enjoy your instruction, Clay!

I am finding your posts really useful particularly with the advice on the movement and position of the leading shoulder when using the driver. I am also loving the apparel, and would love to find one of those Nike hats for use in summer here in Oz, but can’t find them online.
