If the unemployment rate is able to remain steady while the Fed hikes so aggressively and inflation falls back to target, a soft landing might be on the table

WHY there is no discussion about the worthless paychecks Canadians are getting in today's living costs. And Who is responsible?

Does employment seem rosy? A bit of an assumption in the headline there. My industry (animation and film) is in the worst shape since 2009.

We are still historically low like it could be higher, wishful thinking.

There's plenty of jail cells for our financial institutions to occupy. It could provide jobs for the citizens and these financial crooks will be easy to manage.

We can't have a recession because we have never been able to crawl out of the one we've been in! 24 years of recession!

Its good to live below your means fincially, but its hard when your peers are all driving new cars, seemingly living it up on Instagram. but high debt holders never fair well when interest rates change, and are now white-knuckling it. I grew up feeling poor, so I have been saving my whole life. I have a good job now, but that can change in a moment. Bettter to be ready for the curveballs life can through, then look like I've "made it".
