I am using normal Vaseline petrolium jelly for years now while going out in day or even before sleeping trust me it is the best product i have ever used for my lips. I always had chapped lips before using Vaseline but Vaseline helps so much with it

Dont use any Lip Balm without SPF under the sun. Not only vaseline. Vaseline is the best lip balm but they dont have the one with SPF so no no for summer holiday

PS: Since everyone is asking, I am using a regular vaseline. Not tinted. My lips are light pink but when they get moisturized they turn into “rose” pink. Hope this helps 😊

Actually... For sum ppl when they use Vaseline their lips appear to be darker in colour... But for me Vaseline helps me to remove the dead skin cells of my lips as a layer and helps me get soft lips... I mean everyone's skin type is not the same that is y they get different results

Aquaphor can be used as an alternative lip balm for Vaseline during the summer because they have spf in them

it does not . I have been using it everyday for a year now. It does not make it darker . It made my lips so soft and pretty . It even lightened it a bit

im using cocoa butter vaseline, it made my lips pinkish. (i have dark lips)

Got an allergic reaction to something this year and all petroleum/paraffinum products have darkened my lips and do not provide moisture. For some people it is just an occlusive and does not provide moisture but does lock moisture in so you need to use a moisturising lip balm without mineral oils first.

If Vaseline is not working for some of y'all I advice u to use lip therapy it also makes ur lips softer n it lasts ❤

When I finally bought the Rosy lips I used it for a week and realized that it's better when u use it at night cuz when daytime the rosy lips does not have SPF and it doesn't provide protection for ur lips, if you still want to stick with Vaseline u can get the normal classic white/yellow one. But for me I recommend using the In2it lip balms it removes dead skin off of ur lips and also affordable for me (same as Vaseline).

Vaseline Is probaly better for the cold weather or when you have air chapped lips. Plus I always end up eating mine on accident.
