Heard no announcement so assume she is quietly exiting. She is not listed as an exec producer on Book of Boba Fett, the trailer for which dropped today.

Give Dave Filoni her job, I mean he's already fixing the sequels with (The Mandalorian) and (The Book Of Boba Fett) there is literally no one more capable or deserving of the job.

I've heard two similar versions.

1. the sequel trilogy plus side movies were very disappointing to Disney and the CEO of Disney said no more Star Wars and they came up with an Indiana Jones project that she could world on instead. The project involved a female co-star and time travel to a point before the first Indiana Jones movie. Indiana Jones gets injured before going back in time and the costar goes instead. A young Indiana Jones is killed off before the co star defeats the villian, and the first four movies don't happen. The Disney board of directors or executives (can't remember which) hears about this and intervenes.

2. Same scenario except the CEO intervenes

This supposedly happen fairly recently. Disney is fed up with her but weren't prepared to fire here until recently. This is why were are not hearing anything either way. Disney needs to find a way for them to distance themselves from Kennedy before firing her. That's just my interpretation for what's going on as far as no firm actions either way.

The delay of the new Indiana Jones movie almost a full year right off the bat is evidence of one of these rumors being true. Most of the time when announce a delay, it is only by a few months and if necessary at the end of that time you announce another delay. This is far from the case with the Indiana Jones movie.

Star Wars content is not getting better its just going to be fan fiction of a diffrent order. Now its going to be Boba Fett going around being gangster in Star Wars.
If not for the last jedi and the new republic I could not imagne anything lamer.
Even if KK leaves everyone there is still of the same whool as her. Its going to be on streaming service from now on and women are the key demo there so get ready for more woman power while Boba Fat struggels to run around pretending to beat people with a stick. Its so stupid and cringe.
