New type of triathlon: Running, swimming and rock climbing in a forest.

😂 amazing to hear Göran say the word "shit" that made me laugh, I don't know why😂
Great video @Göran Winblad, you should do more of these adventures, they are really fun to watch

I like, that you had to swim the river and become soaking wet for the rest of the route but never complained about it. 🙂

Fantastic route and video Göran! So glad to see a come back of orienteering in your channel. Can't remember how many time I replayed your orienteering videos (and running videos as well, but orienteering is the best of course 🤓😂). Always an inspiration!

I agree with you goran, running trail in the forest alone is the best running experience ever👍

Really cool video! Reminded me of the time my friend and I decided to "take a shortcut" in the middle of the Alps because 2 roads weren't connected and it 'could not be that far' and we couldnt figure out why they didnt just connect the roads, , safe to say we found out 😂 oh well, we live and we learn.

I once did orienteering in Sweden. I wasn't very good at it. The terrain can be very ambiguous and I often have to stop to get my bearings. I suppose Norway is similar... It is amazing to see you can keep a straight line for THAT long while running, that is mind-blowing!!!!

Also by the way great music 👏👏👏

This is amazing. Very inspirational. I always try to find new paths in woodland areas too while running, but where I live here in the UK it's mostly thick bramble, so it's impossible most of the time. Or I'm just not tough enough. :-). The woods look awesome at your place. Bravo!

That was a really cool challenge and a demanding one for sure. Not knowing the obstacles and the terrain, finding surprises along the way and making sure to keep going forward. Love it!

From 9min38 to 9min48: genius! “I can pick up the pace in this open forest …” 😅
I have to admit I am jealous on the area where you live. In Belgium even in the more open spaces most parts are private and you can not run through it.

I absolutely love this idea, and it was so fun to watch too!

Great video as always. I grew-up in the UK, and even back in the 70's the Silva compass was the obvious choice. In fact we would never go out on the hills without one. I always admired them for their rugged, minimalist design. I still use them, 50 years later.

Kjell Lauri (1975?):"Fågelvægen e snabbaste vægen"! (The birds route is the fastest route, meaning the compassline). Kjell Lauri was back then the best or one of the best junior orienteering runners in the world.

I love this video :) I ran many compasslines as a teenager.
