I'm not a huge fan of collecting animal samples and taking pictures of these beasts, but hunting certain perfect animals for clothing and accessories from Alpha Chad Gus is great fun. I really hope they expand on the trapper wardrobe.

At first this role seemed cool but now I've played it and it's so tedious and annoying

Basically the DLC is just window dressing for the patch to fix the massive amount of bugs that have been in the F'n game since it came out. And unfortunately a lot of the bugs are still here, and there's some new ones. It's great that the animals are everywhere, but that's about the only good thing to come with this "update".

The fastest way to upgrade is going to Lagras in Lemoyne. She has a camp close by. All you do is go and sedate 10 crocs or is it alligators Doesn’t matter. You can sedate 10 large and 10 small. Or like I do just do 10 and sell it to her. It will give you over 600 XP. So basically your making 600cp every 15-20 minutes. This is for those who just want to level the role fast. Get it out of the way so that you can go back to doing whatever you want.

I'm at rank 40 i need to hit rank 60 to buy this horse so this update is a win for me once i play this weekend.

I don't think I've gotten any XP for collecting samples, just selling them and reviving the animal after. This could just be bugged on my end since there's been similar issues with other roles before but just in case, watch out for it.

But my god! The XP payouts for regular activities with this role are awful. With a rank 3 outlaw pass, you get **11** XP for reviving an animal and about 57 for selling a sample, depending on how big said animal is and whether or not it's a predator like a bear or wolf. That means without the pass, it's even worse. Thank f*ck for Twitch prime or I wouldn't have reached rank 6 for a time.

Instead of buying the crush valerian root you can pick a plant, I think it's prairie poppies, and use them instead

I would love to try the new roll, but I can’t. I can’t stay connected long enough to complete any missions so grinding out the cost just to access the new hunter class is practically impossible.

I'm surprised people say this role is "too grindy". I have the outlaw pass for the small boost, barely played a few hours this week and I'm already level 8. I've enjoyed it. Just been sedating random animals and bringing them to her and it happens quick

For me I have some stuff to play because I never really played moonshiners only did the outlaw pass so I have a couple of things I can do

This update made the players in free roam much more friendly. I also don't mind sharing my sedated animals :)
