HOW TO: Ryzen Install Raid Drivers on Windows 10 Setup

A guide on how to install windows on a raid setup on AMD's Ryzen platform. It is a bit confusing to do.

THANK YOU MUCH. I was completely stuck.
Just trying to install the OS in one SSD (no raid) but I needed the RAID mode in order to make some RAID 1 arrays for data.
My board is a MSI X470 Gaming Plus Max. Raid driver were a little different but I was able to install the 3 files.

The only thing I did differently was that I used the RAID controller provided by Asus itself on your site, but I followed the same steps described in your video and managed to install Windows 10 in RAID 0 using a Ryzen 7 2700x and Asus Rog Strix X470-F Gaming

I have been trying to figure out why my RAID0 wasn't showing up during my Win10 fresh install and all I have to say is wow.. Just wow.. I don't know whom to be more upset with AMD or MS. The funny thing is, I didn't have to do this on my last build (AMD FX8350 w/ Asus Sabertooth v3). I've been scouring the internet for hours how looking for this answer and even AMDs site doesn't have this information, at least none that I could find. Thank you SO MUCH Versatile Tech! +1!

Thank you. My Configuration 1 x m.2 SSD and 2 x HDD. Was able to install on SSD with the help of this video. In UEFI however "create array" was greyed out and not able to make RAID array with HDD's. Turned out that cause was RAIDxpert2 automatically making an array of each single disk. These have to be deleted before being able to create RAID array.

Bro i cant thankyou enough. I legit kept having issues with raid drivers and i keep coming back here to the link because i know they work. I tried raid drivers off of amds website with them failing to load and this has become my go to if i build a ryzen system with a raid setup.

EDIT: I'm installing two 1TB NVME drives in a RAID 1 config for Windows OS on a MSI Prestige X570 Creator motherboard. Currently a Ryzen 7 2700X 2nd Gen CPU. I'm using M2_1 and M2_2 slots. From the included bluray driver disc you can find the appropriate driver in
If you're using the SATA ports for your RAID, use the driver in Asmedia folder vs AMD

Fuck it. after 8 LONG hours of trying to figure out why my RAID config wasn't being detected, having issues finding working drivers, AND deleting and reinitializing one of my RAID-0's containing all my games and music, I decided I'll just run my SSD as the primary drive and three SATA drives individually for other stuff. I perfer to run out of Drive letters than stick around having patience for thees half assed AMD / Gigabyte drivers out there.
