Honestly, GXK has garnered a lot more interest than any of the prior MV films. I’m the only Godzilla fan in my group of friends but they’re all going to go see it. This is the best thing for the MV.


It’s awesome toho is making minus one type content because that movie was perfect. However, the MV is its own entity and is showing to be very prosperous.

Godzilla x Kong is projected to make 190 million- 208 million$ on opening weekend, higher than dune two, so it’s safe to say it won’t flop

I have a good feeling that Godzilla x Kong will do well, after minus one it seems Godzilla popularity is at an all time high.

The problem for Legendary is the budget, I believe the Godzilla films have been getting less return on investment for each film (not 100% sure). With budgets in the hundreds of millions they can’t have anything less than huge turnouts. Toho could pull it off because they have such small budgets for their films they break even a lot faster if it turns out to be popular.

Now with Legendary going down the more silly path than their original films took they may lose some audience that yearned for films that took themselves seriously. Time will tell if that’s a winning strategy or not. Going down the path of the Showa era in tone may only lead to the same outcome. As much as I love those campy Showa movies, don’t forget that they also put Godzilla into retirement for 10 years because people at the time largely stopped watching them in theaters.

I hope Godzilla 3, King kong 2 & Mothra spin off future Monsterverse

If I were to make movies for the monster verse I would make a final Kong movie, Mothra show, Gamera movie, Final Godzilla movie, make 2 more season of Monarch show, then to kick it all off I would make a trilogy of movies called the Titans and the first film would be the humans assembling some Titans to fight a more storager monster, then after that have a Titans vs Godzilla movie and it would be about Godzilla being hypnotised and the humans make up a team of Titans to defeat him and when Kong is about to kill him he destroys what's hypnotiseing him and then the final movie is Titans vs Humans and its about the Titans fighting the humans and the humans creating another Mecha Godzilla and other mecha Titans. Then at the end it ends off in a cliff hanger with the Titans winning and then all a sudden Gridorah get resurrected but in a more evolves form and some how it takes control of the remaining Mecha Titans and then the final film would be taking down Gridorah and the remaining Mecha Titans.

Godzillas new final form will be the bad guy space Godzilla but he’s good because he’s our Godzilla how it will happen is the scientist will be like if can breathe then why not send it into space…… little do they know he evolves one last time into space godzilla
