Thanks a lot mate, this was simple and the easiest video I've found. Perfect bridges with this technique.

I watching the video attentively until I heard at 2:22 a very nostalgic sound and wondered what year is this!?
Then I noticed the video is 8 years old...

Just getting ready to start on my LUX in the next couple of days. Appreciate the tips. I was looking forward to seeing your take on soldering the rest of the pins though :)

Nice video. Question....we didn't bridge any of the pads on bottom, but ended up using G, 5V, & R2 to wire up to x4r-SB (sbus). All seemed to work as normal. Sound right? Instructions aren't the clearest regarding this.

Joshua, thanks heaps for the tips and assistance.
maybe I have one to help you.

To hold the thing you are soldering in place, try using blu-tac / sticky-tac (or that stuff you use to stick posters to a wall with)

Use a chunk of it, stick it to your bench and then flight controllers, escs, wires etc are easily held in place. similar to extra hands.

it is cheap, and you just ball it up and leave it in a corner until you need it next time.

This was super helpful! I know this video is 6 years old at this point, but what temperature are you setting your iron to?

I'm keen to hear how you find this board as there are a lot of things about it that appeal to me. I almost bought one but at the time it was only available on pre-order from local suppliers - then I hesitated after watching one of your previous vids :) Plus I also found a naze rev5 in my spare parts pile that meant I didn't *have* to buy another FC straight away...

Sorry, how many watts should the soldering iron use for this kind of circuits? I have a 40 watt
