I went to the actual store and tried on the So Kate they are perfect . They are really easy to walk in if you walk correctly. You don't walk in them like you would typically walk in the 85 or the 100 There's a little bit more of a Marilyn Monroe swaying motion when you walk in the 120 once you figure that out the walk looks beautiful. You can also try the Kate Instead of the So Kate. However the So Kate is the heel most worn by celebrities❤️

Gotta say the 120's are not automatically uncomfortable or impossible to walk in. It depends on two factors, I believe.

First, your shoe size. If you're a size 5, you have a short foot, which means that putting that foot over a 120 mm heel means the foot will be angled quite sharply. On the other hand, if you're a size 10, and you put your foot over a 120 mm heel, the angle will be much smaller; it's a question of geometry. At a certain point on the size chart, most women will be able to walk in a 120 without a problem. For me it's a bit of a challenge but not major, and I'm an 8 1/2.

But that's not the only factor. The other factor is a somewhat weird one, and it involves your joints. For some women, if you put them into a very high heel and ask them to stand up in them, you will observe that their knees are bent. This is because some women are not double-jointed. Others, with the same size foot, same length leg, same overall height, will be able to wear a very high heel fine because they are able to swivel their knees over their ankles and achieve a straight line from hip to knee to ankle to heel when standing in a very high heel. It has nothing to do with training or working out or weight or anything like that; it has to do with whether or not you are or are not double-jointed. And that depends entirely on an accident of birth, and is something over which you have no control. And by the way, more women are double-jointed than men.

So no, the 120s are not automatically impossible to walk in, nor are they too high for many people. There are factors at play here which one needs to keep in mind.

This is so helpful. I also got the 120 so Kates as my first designer heel and I had to give them away as I legit couldn’t even stand 2mins in them lol. I got the Amelie tie up but those are also uncomfortable after a while. I really want pairs of closed toe shoes/pumps so really nice to know that I should consider getting the 100 in Kate and Irza as a third chance with Louboutin 🥰

The So Kate only come in a 120mm. The Kate comes in 100mm and 85mm

I got pigale 85 mm size 38 patent and my big toe hurt. Should I go up a size or the toe part will be narrow regardless

Nice. I've seen women walk in the 120 and it does not look good - you can tell that they are in pain. 100 or 85 is the best.

Enjoyed your review on the Kates! I just received mine today in nude patent, what was your sizing like? While I find mine extremely comfortable, I feel like they very slightly slip on the heel part. It’s not big enough to get a finger through my heel and the back of the shoe, but wondering if I should do half a size smaller but fearing they’ll then be too small and tight. Any advice? ☺️

I think the 120s are called so Kate and the 100 or less are called Kate .

So Kate doesn’t come in a 100. Only Pigalle follies and other styles like the Kate. I wear heels all the time but I can’t even stand in the 120

I dont believe so Kates come in 100mm, its either Kate 100mm or the Pigalle Follies 100mm, also you can get the So kate 120mm heel cut to make them more comfortable... great video
