The infamous 'gym wars' that takes years off a fighters career. But as a former amatuer boxer myself, i know how important it is to spar hard for an upcoming fight. Having a counter punching style, If i spar light, my timing is thrown way off, and timing is so important. Spar hard and your timing becomes razor sharp, but at a cost.

As far as hard sparring for boxers goes, this is tame and controlled. They also put a guy who is a few weight classes up on Tank in there.

Its not actually that bad.. winning gloves are extremely protective and they nullify a great portion of your power. That's why fighters train in winning gloves but never ever fight in them.
