A young Teofimo Lopez sparring Gervonta Davis when Davis was 19. Proof that there has always been bad blood between these two.

Honestly I’d pay to watch random sparring jems like this over most ppv’s.

It's crazy how much bigger teofimo is now, he looks like he just graduated 3rd grade in this video

You can tell they told tank to work on movement but them punches to the back of the head sent him into killer mode

Lopez Father: “He don’t want to box, he wants to make it a brawl bro, so you gotta just move around”
Gervonta: Proceeds to box and move around

People who are commenting on this video like this spar session was yesterday.... guys Teo was 16 and Gervonta was 19. Both have gotten astronomically better since then.

TEO WAS 16
Tank was 20
At that age, age matters.

The best part about the sparing was the coaches getting mad at each other lol

This a LEGENDARY sparring session. And the legend will only grow based off what these guys are doing. I guarantee when/if they fight this will be the video people come to!

Ah, a good, old sparring match! Brings back memories. What's crazy is just how good the pros are compared to those of us who just did the sport for health or learning self-defense. I remember sparring this one pro (not famous, he just does tournaments in Asia): busted my lip, bloodied my nose, and bruised me under my eye - all within a round LOL The guy ended it before he hurt me more.

Sparring is interesting. On the one hand, you're there to just get better. On the other hand, you get guys who are so high strung or idiots that they just want to knock your head off. Then you got jerks who will get theirs when they finally meet someone their own size/skill level. It's nice when you meet guys who know what they're doing and are there to actually help you.

I see Tank holding back letting young Teo work his craft

Also remember that Tank was only "19" himself. So Tank has also grown in SPEED, POWER and BOXING IQ since this time!
