DIGIMON ADVENTURE Tri Is Not That Bad 💯

I think everyone getting megas really makes TRI acceptable. That’s one of the reasons I like TRI over Last Evolution.

It's one thing to have the 02 group kidnapped and missing. It's a whole other thing to make this group not care remotely about their group of friends going missing for however long Tri is. TK and Kari especially - I mean, first of all why weren't they also there, Cody & Yolei are entirely useless without them, but also, they don't care about the team they're part of? We see their D3s, have they just forgotten why they have different digivices? Davis is probably still in their class, or at least the same grade at the same school.

I just couldn't enjoy Tri knowing that these kids were so bastardised that they didn't care at all about their other friends because HEY LOOK AT THIS NEW GIRL AND HER CAT.

Honestly, I really hated both Mei’s in the Tri series. They made my blood boil 😭😭
But I also hated the fact that they didn’t make Ken, Davis, Yolei, and Cody in it. Like you said with the animation, I think they would look so good in the Tri art style

What I don't like is repeatedly fighting each other, going through depression mode and unhelpful pep talks. And the sexual imagery. And jet Jai. And it's marked for kids on YouTube. And yeah, the digivolution was probably repeated too many times. I was watching the movies from back to back though.

Anyway, In #5, the heroes missed the opportunity to save Mancoonmon. All they had to do is stop fighting her and say, "you're save with us, and not in danger; no need to fear.", and hug it out. Her happy memories being replaced with fear might make that nearly impossible though. All I remember is that they immediately started attacking her to knock her out. and then calm her.

For the longest time I was pissed at Tri because Jou is still trying to be a Doctor despite doing it because he was pressured in doing so, however at the end of the OG show he decided that was what he wanted to do

I was not a fan of how they handled combat. The flashy explosions were impressive from an animation standpoint, but there were too many scenes with too much going on and i coulndt focus on the fight. Idk what im even looking at half the time

I tried to get re-engaged in the franchise, but I just felt like this anime just told me to piss off. I just find Bandai is getting in the way of me enjoying myself.
There's also no shortage of amazing slice of life anime, it's a highly competitive a genera. Better Character's than Pokemon isn't an accomplishment any more.

The worst thing for me is the length, if they cut to 3 or 4 movies instead it would be way better. The animation is ok for a TV show but not for movies
