So, inertia describes a mass's resistance to acceleration, while momentum describes the resistance to deceleration?

So are you saying they have the same inertia but different momentum?

Would this work as a simple explanation?
"Momentum will always take into consideration velocity while inertia is constant in an object with constant mass regardless of momentum."

But anglar momentum is the thing spinning around its own centre.
I think?

I think i get it... Inertia is what you overcome to move. Momentum. Is when you got motion twin. Then we got. The force. Its with you.

Energy to change acceleration versus energy to eliminate acceleration. Not sure why my mother had wanted to go with accelerations and not just velocity

Hey. Where’s that crash-test dummy getting his friction to apply force to that box. Security!

inertia = force of a body in redt or motion
momentum = force req to alter inertia
...
my English hurts 😱😱😱

Inertia is dependent on mass alone

Momentum is dependent on speed and mass

Inertia
Hold the fuck up we ain't going faster

Momentum
Hold the fuck up we ain't slowing down.

Deceleration is a word, jon. And NO, objects don’t “accelerate to a stop”.
