As of May 2017, the Melbourne tramway network consists of 250 kilometres (160 miles) of track, 493 trams, 24 routes, and 1,763 tram stops. It is the largest urban tramway network in the world, ahead of the networks in St Petersburg (205 km), Upper Silesia (200 km), Berlin (190 km), Moscow (181 km) and Vienna (172 km). Only get to Melbourne once yearly from my home near Broken Hill NSW. Have been aboard most of these models over the past 4-decades or so. Always had a soft-spot for the W2-class trams, many of which were sold to overseas locations, particularly the USA, before a ban was instituted.

A very interesting mix of old and new trams!! I believe San Francisco has an old Melbourne tram which is used on the F Historic streetcar line.

Εξαιρετικοί! Η διαφορά είναι ότι εδώ τα light rails /trams τα προτιμά μεγάλο μέρος των πολιτών της Μελβούρνης, όπως συμβαίνει και στην Ευρώπη αλλά δυστυχώς δεν συμβαίνει ακόμα στις ΗΠΑ... Εύγε!

To bad you missed out on the comeng z1 and z2 classes with your camera it would have sounded really good but they were retyere from service last year being replaced by the new bombardier e1 and e2 classes
