Lavia would be great signing, he can tackle, he can defend, he can pass. Could be a good Fabinho replacement.

Romeo Lavia would be the perfect signing for this Liverpool midfield rebuild. Yes he’s still a teenager with not a lot of experience at the top level and currently was part of a team that just got relegated and despite that he can thrive at Liverpool. He has the tools needed to succeed at Liverpool and he is a player who makes a lot of sense for Jurgen Klopp’s system. They need to agree on money for sure and he can grow there with time and it’s a really good move for him and Liverpool.

He'll be a great signing for us, people keep gassing up Caicedo, but Lavia was almost as good in a much worse team last season ( statistically, as well as the eye test ), and being 2 years younger. Also Caicedo only has 1 full season under his belt in the Prem, same as Lavia.

Liverpool are not "sacrificing Hendo and Fab for Lavia. They've both decided to move on, so naturally, with all the other midfielders that have left the club, they have to be replaced. I think the kid is quality 👌🏾 💥

of course he sees a promising fit. . his speed bursting pacey dribbles to start the quick counter suits klopp's team perfectly.

He’s a player that has come from a Southampton team that just got relegated and whenever a top team signs a player from a relegation club like Aaron Ramsdale at Arsenal or Andy Robertson to Liverpool it raises eyebrows among fans on why they’re signing players from premier league clubs that got relegated and that’s the agenda that the media will have towards them. Romeo Lavia is exactly the player Liverpool need in that holding midfielder role and he’s a great signing for the future and the present. Liverpool has done a really good job in overhauling their midfield and it was desperately needed as that area last season they didn’t have a lot of quality options and it costed them champions league football as a result and that’s why Liverpool have signed Alexis Mac Callister and Dominik Szoboszlai and are about to see Jordan Henderson depart for Saudi Arabia and the arrival of Romeo Lavia also means that Liverpool are moving on from Fabinho as he’s in a bit of a decline and if he’s a player who cannot replicate the levels he showed during his peak years then someone has to replace him and Romeo Lavia is a perfect fit for Liverpool.

I am worried with a 19 year old playing CDM and being first choice for us tbh hope the Fabinho deal falls through him and Lavia would be sound.

Don’t get the hype on Lavia though. Would rather keep Fab and focus on Bajcetic. That kid has potential

Lavia will cook at Anfield. He just needs to settle after the move.

We need to talk about timber being too small for premier league or it doesnt exist since he doesnt play for united?

Idk how Gab connects the dots that we NEED to sell Fabinho and Hendo to finance this deal. We were linked with him all summer long before the Saudis came in. I think he was always seen as an understudy to the aforementioned, but they got their heads turned with the wages on offer. So now he’ll be expected to start.

Hendo and Fab are practically out the door. Investing in the future! 🤞🏽🤞🏽

Gab has obviously not seen Hendo or Fab try and recovery run last season when we were countered! Teams went through our middle with ease multiple times! Definitely time to get young legs that can run in there...Fab got so many bookings as too slow to the ball now even when facing the right way!

I really like the kid, but i just worry about so much turnover in one area of the team in such a short period of time. Also i think he had quite a few injuries last season if i remember correctly. Ideally we’d bring him in, keep fabinho, and ease him into the role.

I love Stevie Nic. I'm a dinosaur and watched him from The Kop as a young man. To say it's a lot of money for a 19yr old. It's half the price of another 19yr old who's gone to Madrid and Declan Rice. Could turn out to be a shrewd piece of business

Ideally we get him and keep fabinho would be great having him as an understudy for him. Plus fabinho can move to CB if we need him there. Then wpuld be confident we have a really good midfield to base to build upon. Lavia, Bajectic, Jones, Elliot, Sziboz, Mac, Thiago, Trent. I'm more concerned we're not signing a right back though.

I don't understand why fans and pundits are worried about club's money when they're loaded with money 😂
