The roll over has another advantage... You can look up hill before riding. Shred safe!🤙

Another way I often use id to just stand up in a crouched position, then slowly stand up. No need to grab the board just push both hands down behind you. The mistake a lot of people make that makes them fall when doing this is they try to stand up too fast instead of just getting up on the board in a crouched position.

I struggled with this at first but I found a way that helps. Basically what you do I pretend that someone is pulling you up with one hand and push up with the back one

Here is a tip for all snowboarders : you NEED to stretch your legs before snowboarding, I went to the doctor and it was painful for me to walk for a week. The doctor said it probably was because I don’t stretch… so yehahhh

I have had to do the pull on the toe edge trick a lot these days where my boards are 181cm and 183cm and I'm in hard boots its so tough to spin around from the sitting on my heel edge. Both tricks work very well.

Just had my first try on a board. I had no problems just getting up from sitting. I think being Asian and able to do the Asian squat such bith might have come in handy 😅

Bro I was just struggling to get up on my toe side this weekend 😭 if I wasn’t on a decent slope facing uphill, I couldn’t get up :/ snowboarding is hard at 6’7” 300lbs 😂

My goal before the end of the season is to else to stand up from heel side 😩 and get off the lift but that's another story lol
