The funny thing I heard is that when he was givin this role he wasn't taking it serious after he heard how dumb the plot was. so here he was just trying to be goofy and sarcastic. i mean u could see how he is just smirking trying to control himself from laughing, and turns out his little skit here hit home

I always like the concept of the purge. They actually made a two season ten episode series that fills in the gaps the movies left.

Theres an entire cleanup crew that comes in and washes everything nice neat.
Purging is actually introduced to younger and younger audiences resulting in unstable mentalities by the time they reach their 20s. Hence why younger and younger people purge every movie.

But the kicker? The release the beast thing. Is a lie. The NFFA is strictly for profit. They made it all up to keep their pockets lined. Low crime and better economy was so bright it blinded everyone from the side effects.
Unstable mental health.
Property damage out the wazoo.
Increased aggression.

A study was done in the second season of the Purge to prove the NFFA right. When the results showed it was all bull. The person running the study tried to get the results published and was killed.

Its all bullshit.

And the Forever Purge was always going to be the end result of this entire thing. America collapsing under its own violence while the rich realize too little too late that the beast they created ended up destroying them.
