Test yourself with our April Fools’ Day game: Fake or physics?

LINKS AND DETAILS:
More details:
#1. Speed of sound: Unlike light, sound needs a medium to travel through, and its speed depends on characteristics of that medium like density and temperature. In the extreme environment of a neutron star’s core, sound can travel extremely fast. But knowing that sound can’t surpass the speed of light, physicists can narrow down their models of neutron stars to include only those where “extremely fast” is less than light speed.

I question the rainbows effect when traveling really-really fast and here is my argument: the light moving away from you that was green would now be orange but the blue light would be shifted to green and thus 'replace' it so it look much the same. If the light source was monochromatic that light would shift blue or red but most sources (e.g. stars) are broad spectrum emitters. You can only detect the red/blue shift of stars when you compare spectral emission/absorption lines which are specific colors.

But this is just my understanding. Anyone?

3. is the most amazing. I know about the dopler efect (I spelled both words wrong, didn't I) but I never realized that I would see the world in rainbow colors because of the efect.

Next time throw in some that are actually fake. You trying to get people to actually think or not?
