It’s really crazy that she survived all these ships sinking. I knew even before you said it that cats would have been able to keep the Black Death from getting as out of control as it did.

#5 Violet was on the lifeboat, and when they lowered it down, the guys on the ship stopped the boat 10 feet above the water. So everyone is screaming at them, etc while they sit there for a bit.
Another lifeboat gets lowered into the water while they are sitting there and got sucked into the rear engine area and everyone was killed. The guys lowering Violet’s boat were waiting for the engines to be shut down and by doing so saved the people in her boat.

One slight verbal “typo” aka error spotted in the recounting of Violet’s incredible survivals in life….Post the sinking of the Titanic she joined the Red Cross 4 years later and again worked on a ship “during WWII”…but of course as it was 1916, it could only have been during WWI… Have just happened upon your channel and heard 2 of your presentation!
