I have had the Phantom 4 for about 6 months now. It is my first remote copter/camera and I am very satisfied. It has performed exactly as it should and is very easy to fly. Great pics and video, love it.

Just a little mistake many people do while record video with this machine on very fast speed: to avoid propeller in your sequences, just fly backward

Glad to find out that the Phantom 4 has an internal cooling fan. My Phantom 2 Vision Plus 'burned' out its internal video card. Replacement/repair was going to be about 80% of the cost of replacing the unit (because it was two years old)...and repair time was estimated at 3-4 months (US to Hong Kong and back). Several of my friends have gone back to using their Phantom 3 Pros. They said that the '4' sometimes was 'squirrely'...it would take off and not return.

The video's horizon is quite tilted around the 2:00 to 3:00 minute mark. Can the gimbal be levelled on the fly?
Beyond Visual Line of Sight flight is illegal in Canada, so being able to fly 3+ miles away is a useless feature. Transport Canada basically says no more than 400' horizontally and never more than 300' above ground. Also no automatic flight allowed, ie "following waypoints."

Your presentation is fantastic and crisp. Clear and with simplicity for those like me that have never used or flown a drone before. I didn't realize that these drones in particular were out as long as they have been. I'm buying a kit a bundle on Amazon for 870.00. A great toy for a recently retired 65 year old.

If you want a Phantom then just buy the phantom 3 advanced. Great price and 2.7k camera, light bridge and better controller then the standard.. And it's half the price of the phantom 4. If you need the 4k then go for the Professional. If you want to do tracking and tap to fly like the Phantom 4 then just use litchi app in the app store which will let you do these features and then some. I can see no real advantage in paying that much for a couple more features like the 4 minute longer battery and optical avoidance cameras which only work for the front of the drone and does not work for things like power lines.

Just one question. On the P3 Pro, the transmitter has an HDMI port on the back. The port is not active, but you could buy a replacement board that easily installs in the transmitter to make it active, just like the Inspire transmitter. Then you can use goggles, or even connect it to a big screen TV to view while flying. It looks like DJI removed the HDMI port on the P4 transmitter. At least I didn't see an HDMI port on your transmitter. If that be the case, I'll stick to the P3 Pro. I paid good money for my HD goggles and I enjoy flying with them.
