why does everyone keeps talking about WHO the green lantern movie will be about?
this could probably a team movie imo, about A GROUP OF intergalactic peace keepers, they could do something like guardians of the galaxy, like how they did the GL animated series, and finally uncover some intergalactic stuffs or even multiverse stuffs (brainiac,  darkseid,  crime syndicate etc) and since it's the last movie on the list and it'll make sense have this team to deal with some huge secret then enter the DC phase 2

Space buddy cop movie. But darker. Like training day. To find the murderer of the previous ring bearer. Sinestro as a villainous mentor. GL as a guy struggling to understand his place but ultimately making the right decisions. End it with Sinestro being kicked from the corps and GL heading back to earth.

In the reboot they better make the new Green Lantern BLACK.

I'm not even black and even I know the black Green Lantern was way better of a character than the white Green Lantern, imo.

I feel if they want to expand Green Lantern universe to it fullest they go with Hal Jordan first. You can't have Sinestro without Hal Jordan IMO. Jensen Ackles would make an excellent Hal Jordan. And for the love of god WB keep it in space, get a director who knows what they're doing and get a better SFX studio!

They should use Kyle Rayner. It would be easy to use him with all the other heroes established. Also his story started with him on Earth fighting human villians and he was later added to the Green Lantern Corps. As an Artist he would allow the production team to run wild with their ideas. They would never have to repeat any of the Ring Creations. Anything the crew can think of they can justify Kyle creating because of his unlimited imagination. John Stewart is a great GL, but I think Kyle would work better. Also, Kyle is NOT Fearless he IS Courageous so he feels Fear, but still does what he need to. This would contrast with all the other GLs who ARE Fearless. Also he is NOT a soldier and the GL Corps is basically a military organization.

How to make GL movie works ? Well put Sinestro as main villains. Establish Sinestro Corps for first movie. Red Lanterns for second movie and Black Hand - Nekron for the third

The original with Ryan Reynolds is not a bad movie. I enjoyed it, but it's popular to hate on it I guess.

My thoughts on a Green Lantern Movie was to call it Emerald Knights and make the main character John Stewart, Guy Gardner, Arisia and Kyle Rayner. But if it's a solo then I would use John Stewart. It would be smarter to use John Stewart since he is an architect and he can be able to help Batman make the Watchtower.

They should totally just reboot Hal Jordan! He is the best Green Lantern with the best story, and he's the most popular. When you think Green Lantern you think Hal Jordan not John Stewert. also if you use Hal you can do crossovers with him and the flash cause there chemistry is hilarious

My favorite Green Lantern look is from Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe. It just made sense. If the Lantern Corp is the National Guard of the universe, an official looking uniform fits.

For me it makes more sense to make hal Jordan the green lantern in the movie. I mean he was the first lantern chosen, he was Sinestro's student and later enemy, he was a founding member of the Justice League, his girlfriend is a star sapphire... Sure they could give these traits to another GL, John Stewart, for example. But then why choose a characters if you are going to give his someone else's characteristics

Eh...John Stewart feels a bit way too serious and while DC wants to take a grittier approach to movies, I think they are risking of overdoing it by adding only gritty heroes into their roster. The combo of Hal and Barry to give some comic relief would be very welcome and one of the things I love most about the Justice League.

John Stewart from the animated series is the Green Lantern I am most familiar with. I didn't even care about GL until I watched that show and he was one of my favorites. Would love to see them do him justice in film.
