keep going, currently 1.5 year(s) in. immerse more despite the difficulty. less anki more immersion

When using fuligana, be aware and train your eyes to ignore them, to read the kanji first and try to remember it. There is a great temptation to as I call it "Jump-Reading", where your eyes get used to read only the hiragana and jump over all the kanji.

Wait, u didn't mentioned Matt VS. Japan when talking about MIA. Is there other channel who teach MIA?

I downloaded podcasts from iTunes for free for listening practice too. You can change the country to Japan at the bottom of the iTunes program on PC to do that and just download as many podcasts as you want. I really liked Bilingual News since in the beginning I couldn't listen for too long without feeling like it was too much.
