Bruh shirts 3X only if you somehow don’t sweat at all

When I lived in a colder climate, this made sense. Now that I live in a tropical climate, I wash after one use. It might still be clean, but sweat and bugs are real...

If you sweat a lot, you can air out your clothes between wears and spray them with a deodorizer, which you can make at home to reduce waste as well. I feel like people make a lot of excuses as to why they can't do xyz without actually thinking of solutions first.

This I say and tell to others constantly. Honestly, I try and trick them in to it slowly by saying, “you’re washing the wear out of your cloths”. Which is true in and of itself.

if you don’t wear underwear you should wash your pants more often

I think it really just depends tbh. My boyfriend sweats like a can of soda in summer, but he doesn't produce a lot of body odor.
I on the other hand, do not sweat nearly as much and my shirts always have some kind of funk on them by day 2 😭
He is a blessed man.

Then there's me managing to use a shirt for 4 days since I almost don't sweat. In fact, I thought there would be more times. It has shocked me cause I constantly reuse my clothes and avoid washing them if they aren't dirty or don't stink

I agree entirely. i usually wear my pants until i know theres dirt or a smell because ill usually wear the same jeans all week. Other than socks! My feet sweat bad!

I was just thinking today, "I hate doing laundry so often. How long can I go between washings?" Then bam, this appears. 😂😂

I hang up any clothes in a separate rack in between wearing them so they can air out. If they have stains or smell they go in the basket. I also have a wrinkle release spray with essential oils in it that I spray on them.

These suggestions often don't take blue collar workers into account. So, that said....I think these are basically good guidelines for people who don't work physically or in a dirty environment. I often wear pants more than 3 times. May common sense prevail! 😊

Half of the things you mentioned stink after one wear in the summer here, but the other half I wash less than that. Either it all evens out or my sweatshirts and towels etc really need a wash.

Like a lot of other commenters said, if you live in Texas, anything that touches the skin directly is pretty much a “wash every time” situation. Sometimes to avoid infection in really hot and humid conditions, underwear and socks are better to change 2x a day! The exception is most pants are okay to wear for a longer time between washes, particularly blue jeans of course 😆😄

I can do all that except for the bath towels maybe twice but it makes sense bc you're clean when you use them 👍

To me if you don’t wear underwear then your pants are underwear and need to be washed after each wear
Also I live in New Mexico and it’s now 100 degrees out. Everything is washed after one wear. Towels I use for a week at a time though.

I do my shirts, but as a prek teacher I live in leggings- which do NOT make it past a single wear before wash for me 😅 they absorb too much sweat haha

Yeah I will wash shirts after one use cuz I swear way to much, some shirts I don’t tho depending on the materials and how much I sweat in it
