I have been writing a fantasy story for 2ish years now, based on my own "rebelliousness" of orthodoxy, and accidentally discovered my story was basically Gnosticism. Personal story: When I turned 60, something snapped in me and I quit "studying" spirituality, which I have done my entire life. I've studied Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Ekankar, New Age everything, Native American Shamanism, Celtic Shamanism, Ancient Nordic Shamanism....everything I could get my hands on. I had done this after leaving home at 14, raising a child on my own, going to school and getting multiple degrees, work myself nearly to death, a three-year journey through prison, then several years of homelessness. I became very depressed and sat for months trying to decide to go ahead and die or do what it takes to live. I sat, hand sewing clothing for nearly a year, not talking to anyone but my dog. Obviously, now almost 68, I chose to live, and after 8 years of spending time just with me, I feel no depression, even though my body still hurts and limps. It's all OK. I love seeing the patterns of life, even the "ugly" stuff.

Unable to grasp what was happening around me as a child, I just observed Later learned this was a gift of emotional intelligence that gave me insights. I am so lucky that my journey has led to Gnosis. Unknowingly, I have deeply believed and followed this path of understanding something. I just had an epiphany last week that all philosophy was written by people who first had sense. & this sense, from what I’ve seen, is the universal program that we all have access to if we pay enough attention.

Had no idea there was a whole group of people who identified what this intelligence was in this specific way.

Living like this fills life with endless revelations, endless death & rebirth. The road does get lonely at times as most people find solace in one belief system or the other. But what I find communion with is that sense or gnosis you speak about. It somehow provides not only knowledge of the world, but the inner peace / comfort to continue uncovering its treasures even in the depths of solitude.

It’s a knowing that the path is accurate.
