The thing which has killed marriage is feminism, there are no more traditional gender roles. The author Alain De Botton wrote in one of his books that the modern version of marriage which is based on Romance and feelings is only recent - the last 50 years prior to that marriage were based on traditional gender roles and the creation of families and the need for survival.
With marriages based on romance and feelings these are temporary emotions, they wax and wane and hence why marriages inevitably fail. Also as men we for a long time have bought into the blue pill Disney version of marriage and romance this is beginning to turn but we have allowed ourselves to be emasculated, now finally after being burned by women and divorce courts men are going their own way and younger generations of men are realising what 50 years of feminism and social media have done to the dating market.
Traditional women don’t exist in countries such as Australia, the US, Canada and the UK.
