2 MUST KNOW Beginner Fingerpicking Patterns

Welcome to my essential yet easy fingerpicking patterns for beginners. Now these techniques are not for absolute beginners that have just started with the guitar, but they are the first fingerpicking patterns I usually teach guitar students since they are usually pretty easy to accomplish.

In this beginner fingerpicking patterns lesson, I will go over my bass pluck finger picking pattern as well as 4 string, 5 string and 6 string chord arpeggios which is probably one of the most common ways to fingerpick songs in ¾ or 6/8 time.

That second pattern I really like, I've only been playing guitar for about 4years, almost 60 yrs old, self taught, playing in a worship setting so that pattern will work nicely in a lot of our songs...thank you...and God bless
