This is why so many homeowners end up falling from ladders. Step ladders are probably the most difficult ladder to work on at height as it is very difficult to get these the ladders to remain level as terrain of property is often un even especially when it’s pitched around various areas of the property. Maybe with wet debris, if dry just blow it.

With your leaf blower why would you suggest to blow the leaves towards your downspout?
I would think you would blow the leaves away from your downspout .

If you’re an unskilled amateur with lots of time this is a mediocre at best method. Rate it 2 /10. Hire a pro and get it done right $150-$350.

Or just ditch the cheesy antifreeze jug, get you a pair of cougar paws and get on that roof with a contractors garbage bag clearing out the debris with your hands & a good pair of gloves. Then spray the lines clean with a hose. That’s what my company I work for does anyways.
