Gets the job done but the topology of it is messed up afterwards, I reccomend adding a remesh modifier, changing the type to "sharp", octree depth to 4 - 6 and scale all the way up to 1. If it's just a little detail in your render or animation / something small in a asset for a commission etc, then it doesn't really matter.

Hello, can you help me I am trying to connect my text with a mesh and it does not work so I searched up how do I convert my text into a mesh and when I do it your way and try to connect it says there is no mesh to connect it does not make any sense! Oh yeah, and when I try and change it into a mesh from curve metal and stuff and then if I try and connect it disappears!

I follow intil it is time to change the text, i dont get the text changed to anything meaningful, it just says "Text" no matter if i click it shift click it or whatever. I guess i am in a state of "read the f-manual" noob ting
