Tips And Comments:

- Playing Technique: Played next to the neck pickup with different dynamics through the song. Neck pickup, full tone

- Gear Sound: Originally played on a Precision. I added some bass and cut high end. Added some mids at 1k

- About The Song: This will be a band cover, i'll try my best, since is an essential song. Take good care of positions and check the harmony! Oh boy.. Anyways, if you have any other question please ask. Transcribed from studio version with help of isolated bass track and live videos

I remember that A year ago, on my senior year, I started to practice bass, then my teacher asked me to be the bassist on the Christmas concert, we played this song. I felt special since there were different drummers, singers, and guitarists, but I WAS the only one playing the bass. I remember looking for this video because since I just started to play, I really didn’t know how to do this song, I practiced hard and felt really happy and proud of myself. But it was all because of your video, which helped me a lot. Thank you so much, that night is one of the best memories I have from school, foreal thank you so much.

I will never cease to be amazed by the power of bass. That so few notes can literally dictate the flow of the song.

2:55 the thing I love about this is that the Rock section is in Eb Major, but the operatic section is in A major. To change the key without the music sounding awkward, it’s at this part when the bassline slowly goes down each note from Eb down to A. Really cool thing, if you ask me.

Deaky- or Deacy, however you spell it, is genuinely one of the best bassists of our time and he is so underrated as for his quietness. Definitely in my top 3 list.

Can we just aprreciate how Deaky does the exact same thing as Brian on the rock part and gets no credit for it

I think (It's just my opinion) John Deacon's bass line is not a colorful like a jazz style but!! it's very accurate in every single word and calm as a credible supporter behind of the band. John is very great bassist in the rock history.
