I want to thank you so, so, so much for what you do, like I actually have no words for how much these videos mean to me. You pulled me out of this rut I was in for over a year. I was so frustrated because no matter how hard I tried, I just didn't understand what my favorite artists did to make their songs stand out. My stuff sounded so goddamn bland and it depressed me to no end.

Over the course of the last couple of months though, I started to understand what they knew all along. Sound stage, drops, drum patterns, EQ, SFX and how big of a role they play in dynamics, how my instruments relate to one another and how I should think outside the box/ outside of 4-bar-loops. And that's largely because you explain all this stuff so well.

I've been watching many other tutorial series over the course of the last couple years and have learned a lot, but none of them have come close to what you do. I feel like I'm scamming you because I get to watch this for free, no matter the topic, you just know your stuff and it's evident! Every small snippet, every track used in your videos sounds excellent and would be something I'd put in my playlist.

So, again, thank you Yalcin, and I hope you know how awesome you guys are.

True talent makes it look so easy. Really top class what you're doing! You could definitely showcase the music you make as an artist more as well (speaking for myself) because I'm curious to hear more from it! Fantastic work altogether!

Besides learning an amazing amount of stuff thanks to your great explanations, I also tend to finally learn how the genres I like to listen to and produce myself are actually called 😁 Keep up the fantastic work!

Cool video! It’s a completely different genre but if you want to hear some awesome examples of polymeters check out Meshuggah. They’ll do stuff like have a 4/4 on a cymbal and then the kick pattern might play alternating groupings of like 7/8, 5/8, 7/8, 6/8, (with some other rule/pattern of a number of notes of an even different length) and then it’s all snipped to fit inside 4 or 8 repetitions. It’s really interesting stuff!
