I grew up Republican, and even told who to vote for most of my life; even as an adult living on my own. My family is still Republican and sadly Maga in the extreme. I left being Republican several years ago due to not liking what they stand for, and how they treat people. I haven't told my family because of how they are. I floated around trying to decide what other party I might want to join; and finally I landed of being Democrat. I believe the Democrats care more about people's lives than Republicans do. They try really hard to make sure everything is done in a way that will benefit the common people. I have no plans to ever be Republican again.

We are not rich, but I have been making modest contributions.
I was so happy when Judge Susan Crawford was elected. I made a modest contribution a few weeks before the election & she won!
BTW, I was a registered independent for years.
I only changed my party to Democratic so I could vote in the primaries.
