Take this seriously please. Get supplies and cash on hand for a day or two and be ready for power outages and flooding. Their power grid isn’t reinforced like ours are on the East Coast, and it still gets knocked out.
Hope they won’t get devastated and no loss of life because of their ignorance. Please take precautions Cali. Hurricanes are no joke. Wishing you all well and good vibes🙏🏼

Please take precautions. Tropical storms and hurricanes require readiness and preparation. Take it from someone who lived in the deep south. They are no joke. Living in San Diego but from Louisiana I can say you guys are not prepared at all. In fact I predict power outages, Internet outage, wind damage, flooding, eroshion, mud slides, power lines down, missing shingle roofs and holes, flying trashcans, lack of gas, no air conditioning, Breaking glass windows, lots of debris, shall I go on? The rain i experienced here iver the years is nothing compared to tropical storm. It will beat doen and fast. Combined with high winds is a recipe for disaster. Better be safe than sorry.

Just got back from Walmart in Grossmont Grocery store and the lines were very long! However, not chaotic yet. That was about 11:45am. I've got what I needed. Good luck/Be Blessed everyone!

The infrastructure of SoCal is not designed for this, just as the infrastructure in Texas was not designed for ice storms. People should expect to lose power and expect serious flooding in low lying areas, along with the threat of landslides, mudslides and flash floods coming down from the Laguna Mountains. Even if it's not a hurricane when it makes landfall in SoCal, the rainfall is enough to cause significant damage. Hope for the best, but if you're in a valley you should pay very close attention to the potential for flash floods coming down from higher elevations.

Plead all you want, but san diego 100% won't be prepared. The first light rain of the year is a fatal event here because of the car accidents.

Will be an interesting experience

I hope nothing happens. But I feel like we are going to hear people crying in a couple days blaming everyone but themselves for the destruction they are being told is coming your way. Honestly it’s hard to care if you don’t and do nothing to protect yourself and your property. I hope no one dies.

All the interviewers: 🤙🤪✌️ But seriously guys. Please take this storm seriously and at least move or secure your patio’s furniture, grills, pottery, etc. I’m from SD and live in VA…this storm is strong enough to do damage. Hope everyone is safe.🙏🏽

Praying for those effected by Hurricane Hillary . Also praying that the people effected understand this is a serious situation. 2016 Hurricane Gustav bought unforeseen devastation to Northeast Louisiana communities. Those that’s in the area of this storm please don’t take this storm has a thunderstorm ‼️

Can't state this enough-prepare!!!! I'm originally from the desert (Banning area) and know what the hell heavy rain and flash flooding are about! I'm up in Southern Idaho now, and even us Idahoans are taking this seriously, and we only expect to get the tail remnants of this storm on late Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday....eyes open and ears to the ground. Praying all stay safe and out of harms
