More on Mars-Uranus in Taurus: Everyone Has a Breaking Point

Today, I want to look at the same transit again, but from a different angle. I've been brainstorming about the development of this transit, especially since Uranus and Mars are coming together less than a degree from my ascendant. With the transit being so palpable for me, I thought it would be worthwhile to continue exploring it, as it's one of the biggest transits of the summer and crucial for us to develop our understanding as it progresses.

Mars/Uranus feels like that moment Prometheus was freed from his chains. He went from feet on the ground and bound to a cycle of suffering, death, and rebirth to being airborne, carrying with him the hard-won light of wisdom. And it became about not so much what he'd been freed from, but what he'd been freed for. In 1983 I had Uranus conjunct Jupiter cross the natal Mars/Ascendant in Sagittarius, with Jupiter in Taurus in the sixth house. It changed my life. I didn't integrate the experience all at once. Shift happens. Just because you're aware of a change doesn't mean you immediately understand all its implications, even though they might be profound. There's only one way through these momentous shifts, be it through a lightning strike or new awareness--trust the process. Once again Uranus, Mars and Jupiter are shaking my world--the Uranus/Jupiter conjunction was exact on my Jupiter return. It's a heart-quake. 🥰

Mars/ Uranus in Taurus.
I’ve been wanting to leave a toxic work environment for 4 years. I’m single, no family to help me out. Living in a country with a 30 percent unemployment rate.
Mars in my tenth house was directly opposite my natal Venus and Sun this week, when the final straw broke the camels back and I have resigned. My breaking point had been reached. Nothing to hold onto right now. I cannot pay rent and will probably have to let go of my flat, but I could not take one single day in the toxic work place anymore. Phew.

Always love the reminder that the cultivation of ‘peace’ is ever-changing; peace is not a static state, but a dynamic process that requires constant adaptability. As a Taurus rising w Mars tightly opposed my DSC, I constantly feel torn between these things: wanting to keep the peace + be liked, but also constantly being made aware that authentic peace, esp for the masses, sometimes requires temporary upheaval and painful separations. I watched a talk from another astrologer talking about leaning into the 2nd house for resourcing (metaphorically + literally), + I find it funny that we Taurus risings have Gemini in our 2nd! It’s like a cosmic reminder that being able to discern *when* it’s good to be flexible/adaptable/open to change (Gemini) is a skill we esp need as fixed, Venusian earth risings, because it can help us better accept that things in our lives will always be changing, whether we like it or not! When Uranus passed my asc in ‘22, I was blindsided w a breakup after moving into a house my fiancé bought 5 mos prior. I thought I finally had a forever-home in him and that house, which I especially desired as a person who had a disruptive childhood home, but 2 yrs later, I see it as a gift. Bitter medicine, but medicine nonetheless. Not easy for Taurus, but you nailed it—maintaining status quo can *look* like peace when it’s really just passivity or avoidance of conflict/change.

A pivotal moment is coming as Mars conjuncts Uranus

With the exception of the most hardheaded among us, the breeze from the winds of change are felt vividly, as a pivotal moment is approaching with the conjunction of Uranus and Mars in Taurus on July 15th 2024. Something must - and are - changing on a profound level. And it can be experienced as anything from challenging, lovely, horrible or exciting depending on which aspect of the birth process you tap into.

It feels like a cauldron. With the intensity of a birth: An amazing vehicle of expression have for a long time been forged for the divine to inhabit. One could also say: For the conscious human being to inhabit.

The task at hand is to feel inside instead of relying on consensus, to sense rather than let intellect rule, to trust the bodily intelligence in contrast to allowing an external matrix of thought to animate it. Heart rather than head.

No matter the level of your physical strength and ability, there is a complete trust and feeling of "being held", when the presence of the heart is acknowledged as the leading guide. The safety is evident because the roots are firmly rooted in the emerging energy structure, rather than the matrix which have reached its breaking point.

As they have always been, the stars are our guides, and since April 20th where Jupiter and Uranus held the same position in the sky, we have sensed and experienced the tale being woven of which we are an intrinsic part. He speaks about the cracks in the foundation that are starting to appear, as something deeper, something beneath is shining through. Anxiety provoking for some, and a source of joy for others. No matter what, it is happening, and the process is as much a blessing as life itself is a blessing. A birth can be experienced in a number of different ways depending on the steps taken before the moment of birth.
There can be themes in your life where you know you need to change, but there is a resistance to change or the blind eye is turned towards it: If we have taken the bull by the horns then it will help us in the weeks to come, and if not it will drag us along with our nails scratching the dirt. Like a seed will change its form at some point, it is coming. Like a child will be born when it is time, it is coming.

Here we are referring to the force of nature showing itself through us. Or sweeping us aside. If there is an inner tendency to cling to certain convictions and keep a status quo that once served us, it can be experienced as a painful and tough time or as if one is going insane. Insanity, as a force dragging us away from the senses and the present moment, have been here for a long time, and seen from inside the bubble an illusion that a certain behaviour is "healthy", "necessary" or "normal" can be maintained for a while. However, eventually everything will come to pass. Which is quite a blessing.
