The Russo brothers did an excellent job with this movie, especially with this scene, I love how strange and thanos don’t immediately fight each other, it’s actually a peaceful interaction.

Strange and Thanos have the most mature hero-villain dynamic in the MCU. Neither of them were driven by emotions, both of them were peacful at the start, they acted like actual adults. What a perfect dynamic.

There's something about the way Thanos smiles at 0:58. Probably remembering his home as it was, and ruefully lamenting the "foolishness" of those who rejected his idea to save it.

What I love about Thanos is how relatable he is, at least in his backstory, not in his methods. His world was facing the same problems we are, just as he says, "too many mouths, not enough to go around, " and that's just a fact. He's literally a hero of the other side. He saw the impending doom, he wanted to try and stop it to save his world, but he's flawed and wanted to do it in an evil, morally wrong way.
