The car industry and F1 should have been pushing cleaner fuels instead of EV and hybrid - but as with everything these days, the concern is merely the rhetoric of doing something, *not actually doing something that makes sense* for thee public (or F1 fans). As Newey said, if we care about "sustainability" we should be focused on a lightweight and efficient car. F1 aligning itself with corporations and entities with questionable ethics is also very disappointing.
