Calculating Topsoil Volume in Civil 3D using Place Lined Material

On occasion, you may wish to calculate material volumes for items associated with corridor daylighting. These materials might include things like topsoil, rip rap or seeded grass. In this session we’ll look at a way to calculate materials like these using Civil 3D’s “Place Lined Material” option.

Cheers Jeff! Im currently working on my Civil 3d template for our company, dunno where to contact you, but ill try here. Do you know is there a bug with Datum/Formation (Generic subassemblies - LinkSlopeToLevel and LinkWidthAndSlope) codes constantly changing, even if you import all codes in most of the code set styles. Its been a problem for me, cause i cant use proper labeling. Thanks in advance! Big fan from Croatia! Keep up the good work, professor!

Jeff, I would like to know how I can import solid 3D objects into infraworks, because my Civil3D 2019 version doesn't have FBX anymore, my version is from infraworks 2019 3D objects don't matter in any format that appears in the import tab I've tried them all.... Altamira Pará Brasil.
