SALVAGE AUCTION 2011 Ford F350 - 6.7 Powerstroke NO START!

In todays video I take you guys through the process of picking up the 2011 Ford F350 I purchased from the Salvage auction. The truck has a clean title, was not wrecked, and was listed as a mechanical issue. After getting the truck loaded the 6.7 would not start ( expected ). Then i take you guys through the diagnosis process and show you how I figured out what was wrong with it as well as going over some common issues with the early 2011 6.7 Ford Power stroke Scorpion engine.

I was a technician in a Ford dealership for 5 years. I think you probably got a good purchase on the truck. I would disconnect the batteries before you get a fire and then go over all that wiring, I would bet it needs a few areas on the harness repaired, and then it will probably start. It did sound a lil odd when you first cranked it, but the few times after that it sounded normal

I really appreciate you posting this. I drive these trucks all the time for people I work for they're all under warranty we've never had any trouble with them. I really like being able to understand how they work! And yours is the first video that's taught me a lot about these trucks.

Trevor, common problem with those trucks is that the wire harness sheathing is soy based and the mice and squirrels love to destroy

I would chase the voltage/ harness issues before you go after fuel
Those open wires and corrosion are you issues

Blocking up the tail of the trailer when unloading is a top tip for sure. They can do all sorts of weird things as the weight transfers across them while unloading.

Get the 15 engine and do 150hp injectors and delete it and head studs an straight pipe and tires and wheels an cold air induction and more power mods and leveling kit 😍. A lot of ands there 😂
