That Dual Sport looks like a winner to me. Nice job Trek. I’m a hard core downhill mountain biking fanatic but for some reason I find this bike very appealing. I have an old school Cannondale urban commuter for going to work and riding streets going day drinking or whatever. A bike shop buddy gave it to me - what I like about it is absolutely nothing rusts on it but the chain. Except for regularly lubing the chain I have never washed it or performed any maintenance on it except changing the V brake pads once. In the 3 years I’ve had it. And I ride 320ish days a year through mud, salt, snow, rain. On the other hand I do maintenance on my enduro mtb several days a week where a stuck caliper or a misplaced gear shift could land me in a world of hurt. I’m rambling. Bottom line - I haven’t cared about a “road bike” in years but I’d love to trade in my Cannondale for that Dual Sport. The Orange 🍊 one please.
