How'd you get the tan sidewall tires? When I bought my Dual Sport 3 Gen 5 in May of 2024 they said they were no longer available. I looked everywhere.

Wait, are the mounting points on the forks fake? They look filled in/solid, no threads. Doesn't look like a blanking cap either

I recently bought one but already regret it. The tyres ride like tractor tyres.

Rims have slight wobble.
Welds are not the best, also top tube was not cleaned well and painted over weld splatter.
Breaks don't give me confidence, have to pull it hard to break (maybe need more adjustment), rear rotor needed bending, it took them more than one hour to fix the front break, pads kept touching the rotor, idk what magic they had to use to make it work,
bike comes with brake calipers not attached to the frame, probably to save costs.
Cables mounts don't have anything to prevent dirt from entering into the frame, hole from the front gear left open.
Pedals are too small for my shoes.

To sum this up, this bike is overpriced, feels like Chinese bike with Trek logo on it, but maybe its what Trek is...

Tan wall tires and Tekro brakes? Thats not what the Trek website is showing for the DS 2…hmmmm😮
