Google Pixel 3a - AFTER ONE WEEK [The Good & Bad]

In today's video we will go over the Pros and Cons of the Google Pixel 3a. These insights and thoughts come from a long time Samsung User. so yes I am nit-picking. that's what the video is about. Honesty.

"just a couple hundred bucks more"...lol. That comment alone makes me question if you actually get what a big deal this phone with this price is.

You missed some significant points here. For example, the device size is a major deal because some people just like it handy and the Samsung Galaxy S10e is actually its only competitor. It is super difficult to get proper smartphones with a comparably handy size. Also, 3.5mm jack is something quite some are missing these days and I am glad Google added it. The same goes for no notch or display hole, stereo speakers, and so on.

Oh, and the back button goes on the left.. Samsung started screwing that up years ago.

I look at your S10 Plus and see gaudy in the way it is set up. Maybe we can fit a couple more buttons on the nav bar.

1. Back button shouldn't be an issue. I'm on Q and you just swipe left or right. Not a con at all.
2. You just swipe up and to the right and clear all on Q. No issue again.

Dude, the screen brightness is not as bad as you make it sound. I use it on bright sunny days and its not as bad as you make it out to be. Honestly, yes, the screen could be brighter. But definitely not "game over" as you say.

Jimmy I think one of the reasons that close all apps is at the end of the multitasking menu is to discourage users from using it. Closing apps really hurts users battery life and should only be done if there are app errors.

Hey Jimmy. Interesting video :)
I understand your perspective, coming from Samsung phones for so many years. You're used to how Samsung does things, and the UI of the pixel is new to you.
but listing the differences of the phones as "pros and cons" should really just be "differences".
Google is the company that makes the software . It's licensed to Samsung. The pixel has Google's stock version, which is their original vision of it... Samsung makes changes to it.
And I get it you're used to how Samsung changes the UI, to make it their own thing, add their own features etc...
I mean yeah, coming from a Samsung phone it seems the features are limited on the pixel... to me, Samsungs extra features seem like add-ons... some don't matter to me, some are unnecessary to me.
But that's just my opinion.

You can swipe up and down on the fingerprint panel on the back of a Pixal 3A to see your top panel. I'm going from my Nexus 6p to a Pixal 3A XL. I don't think I will miss anything.

When you review next time stop telling us specs, just talk about network reception, wifi, Bluetooth, battery life, speaker loudness etc, think as average phone user, and see people will enjoy it, that will be informative, for this video it's not a like

Um.. you can access the notification shade from the fingerprint reader on the pixel. You don't have to stretch your fingers. Also the app tray is at the bottom right near your finger. It's not that difficult to reach it

I think this was a pretty fair video (especially coming from someone that has always hated Samsung), but I just wanted to add, about the back plbutton placement. All Android devices had back on the far left forever. Samsung moved it to the right, which was totally backward for most of us. That is why, I believe, Samsung eventually added an option to move it to where it 'belongs'. Would have liked to see more about how you felt about 3a using an inferior SD chip, compared to the 800 series.
