Orientation Session : OmicsLogic Summer Programs 2022 for LBRN | LSU | NAIPI

LSU/LBRN BIOMMED Virtual Summer Training Programs are designed to address the pressing needs of students, faculty, and researchers to deal with growing amounts of high throughput data generated in life sciences. With a focus on accessibility, hands-on practice, and project-driven design, these training modules will help you get started and grow in biomedical informatics, bioinformatics & related -omics fields.

3 programs will start in June 2022:
1)Bioinformatics for Infectious Diseases (Genomics and Transcriptomic data analysis to study viral and bacterial pathogens as well as host immune responses)
2) Transcriptomic Data Analysis (for chronic diseases - cancer, metabolic, etc.)
3) Bioinformatics using R and Python (getting started with sequence and structured data analysis in R or Python)

ABOUT OUR CHANNEL
Our channel is about bioinformatics and its application to various biomedical and biotechnology challenges. We cover lots of cool topics on data analysis, machine learning and various technologies that generate high-throughput data like genomics, transcriptomics, metagenomics, epigenomics and others.
