I’ve been up to 500’ and changed an entire lighting system on a tower. I was only making around $17/hour since I had only started 6 months prior. I can’t speak for the big AM towers in the Midwest, but I can’t imagine them being paid $20k PER CLIMB!

They change bulbs 2 time a year and get paid $13 to $33 an hour. They don't pay by climb.

The most towers have multible lightbulbs all 40 or 50 meters, just the last on top is a single lamp or a twin

Only a select few can do this job, THAT'S why the high pay.I got tested to be a lineman, on a 60 foot pole!I failed!😢60ft is HIGH!😳Especially when you're asked to lean back at a 30degree angle, while secured to the pole, and swing side to side.😮NO DICE!

They are not I repeat NOT PAYING 20, 000 PER CLIMB. Idk what happened and why this crap is being spread out about people being payed per climb it is false, it’s an hourly pay and it sucks. Lucky to secure a job over 60k a year.
