Hi there love your videos. I have a few questions if you dont mind answering them for me. Iam fairly new to fly fishing the lake i go too is mainly floating action the trout are fed on floating pellets mostly before they were put into the lake so they always are rising and its shallow. The main question i have is if im fishing floating line do i need to use unweighted flies? I notice i cant find unweighted anywhere are they all hothead and goldhead flies? I understand dry flies you put gink on them to make them stay up etc. Are you meant to fish goldhead lures and streamers on floating line? I have been all this time been catching etc just wondered if your actually meant to use unweighted lures on a floating line. I checked the website out you said about fulling mill it looks great some nice looking lures and streamers i especially like the creeper one which ill order and a cats whisker variation. If you could help me id appreciate it. Thankyou great channel subscribed

This video is much appreciated Barry. I find it very overwhelming when trying to select flies so thankyou. I'd also appreciate your advice if possible. I've been offered a Helios 3D 6WT setup for £800 including Mirage 3 reel and Orvis Proline. I currently use a Recon 5Wt. I fish stillwaters. Medium and large. I know you like your Helios but is it worth it when I already have the Recon 5wt?
