I will further add to my post. As the democratic party has found it is difficult to create a living document because their living document, the democratic party platform, does not address all universal aspects, nor was it was designed to. Instead perhaps it is time and NOW is the Time to rewrite the democratic party platform and draft up a more central position politically.

I would expect that argument coming from the far right comservatives. I beleive in our constitution but that's why we have the ability to amend the constitution and if im not mistaken it's been amended 27 times. Maybe it needs to be looked at and readdeessed during these changing times but dont tou dare take away my guns, free speech and right life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
