I'm running 285/40/20 in the back and 255/35/20 in the front new rims of course no rubbing only lil bit on a uphill sharp turn other than that it's fits nice. I will drop the back tires back to 285/35/20 so that doesn't happen anymore 2023 model 3 performance

8.5 inch rim limits how wide the contact patch actually is no matter how wide the tires you put on.

Wider is not always better. Law of diminishing returns. You passed that at 255s. Waisted money.
