Kat Von D Baptized After Giving Up Witchcraft

Kat Von D has embraced a new faith. The "LA Ink" star shared personal Instagram video of her recent baptism on Oct. 3. The clip showed the celebrity tattoo artist being dipped into a baptismal pool during a church service in front of friends and family. Kat's spiritual milestone comes over one year after she revealed in a July 2022 Instagram post that she was distancing herself from supernatural practices. The announcement included a photo of witchcraft books and tarot cards and Kat explained why she was saying goodbye to her beliefs. "Today, I went through my entire library, and threw out books that just don't align with who I am and who I want to be. I've always found beauty in the macabre, but at this point, I just had to ask myself what is my relationship with this content? And the truth is, I just don't want to invite any of these things into our family's lives, even if it comes disguised in beautiful covers, collecting dust on my shelves," she wrote in her caption at the time.

Not because I didn’t see it coming, But because on Oct 3rd she just popped into my mind out of nowhere, remembering her post about throwing out the books and wondering where she was at in her journey and I had the drive to pray fervently for her.
